Thank you for the great service. The log splitter arrived in a steel frame shipping crate, with instructions on box not to set product on top. It arrived perfect. I put the machine together and split 2 years worth of wood in 6 hours and I was not running. Basically, for every 10 minutes I split was equal to a hour by hand. Again, from ordering till cleaning machine for seasonal storage-my experience was what everyone hopes for. Thanks everybody involved. Have a great day.
Although I've only lightly tested the splitter at this point, I'm impressed with the operation. Also impressive was the delivery....liftgate service to my door, and the steel frame around the box was nice to see (the box itself was weak cardboard with a hole punched through it, but no harm). Looking forward to years of firewood, thank you!
Still getting years of service out of 10 ton electric splitter, but decided to add the 16 ton electric with road wheels. The old one will come to the house and the wheeled model will go to the farm. I have an old gas powered log splitter but the electric is easier to set up and can be used indoors. The one negative to the 16 ton splitter is the loading trays are smaller, and less sturdy than the ones on the smaller 16 ton.
Price was the best I could find. Splitter shipped in a reasonable amount of time. Used it to split about 2 cords of wood so far. Worked really well and didn't have any issues with any of the larger logs. I also got the 4-way wedge that worked well also. This replaced my gas-powered 25 ton County Line and this is much easier to move around and will be easier to maintain.
Once again the driver was fantastic. He deserves a raise and praise. The splitter is together and in working order. It has a slight bit of paint worn off, but hey, it's a tool. Happy overall. The Shop feature made it very nice! Thank you
